Daniela + Nathaniel - A Gorgeous Glacier Elopement

Daniela and Nathaniel's elopement was a day to remember!  Their connection was almost electric and so much fun to be around.  They met while working together at a remote lodge in Alaska during the summer, fell completely in love, and endured long distance while Daniela finished her degree in Minneapolis.  I always have a soft spot for anyone contacting us from Minnesota (after living there for almost 15 years)!  Throughout the entire process, Daniela remained extremely excited and she couldn't wait to marry her soul mate.  Add in a helicopter ride, gorgeous glacier views and amazing Alaskan scenery and you have the perfect scenario.  And we even had the chance to explore an ice cave!  We are so glad we were a part of helping these two get married and reunite in the most magical way possible.  Congratulations Daniela and Nathaniel!

Feng + Shuren - Woodland Creatures and Beautiful Landscapes

Say hello to the sweetest couple on earth!  Feng and Shuren came all the way from New York to get married in Alaska.  From our initial contact I could tell that these two were genuinely in love and just as genuinely excited to adventure in Alaska and elope while they were here.  The Bride has a love for small creatures and was so excited to see as many animals as possible while here in Alaska.  We incorporated the cutest bride and groom foxes into their wedding cake and spent time to spot eagles and squirrels on our hike to their elopement location.  The Bride's sister and brother-in-law came along as witnesses, and they have just about the cutest baby I have ever seen in my life!  Cute babies on wedding days just make me happy.  I have to say this day was a treat and we are so honored that Feng and Shuren trusted us with the planning of their wedding day.  Congratulations to these two!

Ashton + Brady - Love in Bloom

Ok this couple has "it."  Totally gorgeous inside and out.  Ashton and Brady came to Alaska to have a bit of adventure with close family and friends, and they got married in the process!  I love how what we do not only brings people together, but also cultivates relationships.  Intimate weddings are so wonderful.  It's hard to describe the feeling, but it's almost like you're more frozen in time because everything is personal.  There's no pomp and circumstance, just a group of people who care about each other gathering in the woods to see two people join their lives.  It's more relaxed and organic in a way.  Everyone in attendance was on their own personal Alaskan adventure, and seeing them all together made the energy amazing.

This particular elopement was special for us as we got to meet and work with Jamie Taylor Photography for the first time, and host a wedding on a private flower farm (whom the florist also made the Bride's flowers) in the Matanuska Valley!  It's always nice to make new friends, meet new clients and go somewhere new and unknown.  That coupled with the excitement of the Bride, Groom and their families made this one just a little bit extra special.  We are so blessed to be a part of so many of these moments in our client's lives.  To Ashton and Brady, thank you for choosing us and we hope you have many more adventures to come!
